I plan on riding at Gore this weekend and I have a bike but my son has grown four inches and no longer fits on his old bike. I'm not planning on buying him a bike being that he only rides 2-3 times a year. My question is, where is the best place to rent a quality Mt bike in the North Creek area? I plan on visiting GHL and renting from them but I have been unable to contact them for the past two weeks. Does anyone have a suggestion for me?

To my knowledge you are out of luck renting north of Albany till you get to Lake Placid other than Garnet Hill whose bikes I would not recommend for Gore. And why Gore when there are quality trails in the area that are free? Ski Bowl Park, Gurney Lane, Brant Lake Bike Park [ not beginner friendly] AND Garnet Hill [ the most beginner friendly].
