Retina (High Pixel Density) Monitor?

Apple offers high pixel density monitors in much of their lineup. They call it a retina screen. (Once you've had retina you'll never go back!)

It looks like for PC you can buy it, but it has to be a separate piece that you plugin.

Only a small percentage of our site visitors are on Mac:

Curious if any have retina or any HPD monitors.

To my knowledge their are no high density monitors on phones. If there are I really don't care about them.  I'm really trying to find out what percentage of our audience sees the site the way I do.

We have Macs at home but didn’t spring for the Retina display, either.  No matter, all my NYSBlogging is via my iPhone.

Two Mac laptops at home, regular screen. Old (2010) and brand new iMac at work, regular screen. Retina would be nice but I don't really need that level of resolution, so not worth the extra $$$. A friend just bought the iMac Pro as he does heavy duty photo work. I can get insight from him if you have questions.

My 2013 MacBook Pro 13-inch is the Retina version.  With old eyes, it makes a difference even for text.  I travel with my laptop a lot, so would rather have a sharp screen in a smaller case than a 15-inch.  A key reason I didn't go with a MacBook Air for the last upgrade was because my previous MacBook Pro was Retina.  I'll be looking at the new MacBook Air Retina with interest.

At this point, most iPhones and iPads have retina display.  So does the Apple Watch.  Of course, physical screen size is also a factor.

Not really any questions just curious.

My laptop needed a new keyboard, the "1" stopped working and they had to replace half the computer to fix it. I had a loaner for the last two days and was noticing how much of a letdown the regular screen is once you've have a retina. It made me think...  this isn't really what NYSB looks like to XX% of the people who see it.
