Reward for finding pole left at West Mt

Z
Guys need some help

I left just one of my new adjustable poles at the NW Lift by The Mach on Monday.  My son handed me his skis to put away and I forgot to pick up my pole I was using as a hiking stick.

I've called West a couple times and they are not being at all helpful.  The places they have said it could be are
in lost and found
At the race department
Still over by the NW lift or the small lodge there
Or just throw by the ops staff somewhere by the main lodge
No one is willing to look for it that I have talked to at West

I'm offering a Whiteface unlimited vochure that has no expiration date to whomever finds it and arranges for me to pick it up from them.

Thanks to Outlaw

Ticks me off that it was sitting right where I told three different people at West on the phone it was and they assured me it was not there and that they had looked.

Your upset people did not drop what they were doing to go look for your ski pole? You realize you sound like a big dick right?

I am with Coach on this one.  Same issue at another close ny ski hill recently.  Left a glove, called next morning (Monday), gave exact time and table where is was left, and of course no help, no effort, nothing found.   No one steals one glove or one pole.  A little effort at times would be nice.  Oh wait, that would be Customer Service.

+1

Sure it was a mistake to leave the pole, but we all make mistakes and it would be nice to know after spending a bunch of money as a place that they give a shit.

West has had bad apples. Years ago, their lifties had such " don't give a shit attitudes " that people without a lift ticket could just skate right up and hop on the lift, no questions or problems. It happened often.

I called and was told they called the liftie to ask if a pole was sitting about 10 feet from where the liftie stands and was told it was not there.  Which of course was exactly where outlaw found it.  How am I a dick about thisWest made a shit load of money off this raceThis was basic customer service that they blew offRumor is they won't survive to next season and I think their employees are now phoning it in for the rest of the season
