SAT: Gore, WF, or Killington?

Capdistski
For Saturday should I go to Gore, Whiteface, or Killington?

I’m thinking Killington but don’t want to regret if it’s crowded.  Hopefully it being April the crowds won’t be bad.  Might be bummed to miss a last chance Spring day at Gore but haven’t been to K in a couple years and they’ll have more open.

I was at Killington last weekend and it was a freaking mob scene. Maybe it's because it was bear mountain mogul challenge weekend, but I was shocked at the crowds.

I expect Killington to be crowded again, but they will have more terrain that your other two options so maybe those people will spread out?

Tough call.

Last weekend - the upper part of Whiteface was sweeeeeeeeet !
I got there early -- and literally skied down and immediately got on the lift most of the morning.
The lower part was slushy, some ice and you could start see some dirty ground.
Sunday (as usual) was less busy than Saturday ---but even Saturdays was light for people.

I would imagine this coming weekend - the upper mountain would be decent, the lower part would be on the rough side and the lodge area is going to be pretty muddy.

The Mid Station will be party central

They’ll all be fun but I say Gore.

You thought skiing Saturday in zero visibility the Summit was sweet?
There were no one on the lift becuase it was impossible to see
I heard it was visibility was also bad at K
Best skiing Saturday was lower parkway

Sunday WF Summit was quite nice
Even Cloudspin was decent on the sides but with the rain this week that is likely toast

There won’t be lines at WF for sure
K will have way more terrain but bigger crowds

My bad ---- the upper mountain comment was based on Sunday.
Yeah - Saturday was beyond foggy...i couldn't get down fast enough with my young kids ---afraid they were gonna get plowed from behind.

Or maybe Z's bad for jumping to the conclusion that you were referring to the worst of the two days.

If you read his post again it clearly says weekend was sweet and talks about how crowds were less on Saturday than Sunday.  I was pretty shocked WF even ran the summit lift Saturday.  The visibility really was less than 10 feet as you in the cloud.  The only option was to ski the tree line on either side.
