Vail just announced they are suspending operations at all NA resorts effectivel March 15.

Bellaire is semi closing from Monday March 16 to Friday

Just giving everyone a little operations update.  We will be open tomorrow, Sunday, March 15th with 34 trails and 6 lifts spinning.  We be shutting down operations Monday through Thursday, re-opening again on Friday, March 20th.

I heard Wyndham is done after tomorrow.

Killington VT suspended tomorrow Sunday March 15

"Our top priority - the safety of our staff, guests and local community - remains at the forefront and for this reason, Killington and Pico will suspend all resort operations starting tomorrow, March 15, 2020, through March 22, 2020. We will continue to monitor the dynamic COVID-19 situation and reassess our approach for the rest of the season.

NY non resorts few are running for now

Gore, WF, Belle closed as of today.

Bristol is closed as of today 3/15.

Windham closed as of 3/16

I miss skiing as much as anyone, but closing these places for a week isn't gonna cut it.

I don't think closing for a week is going to happen. It's just a way to roll it out.

Since most areas are closed, if you have an back data on this (xyz ski area closed last monday etc) please post.

Whitefish closed yesterday.Six inches of cold snow was bittersweet.In other news I have two new knees on order for June and August installation.

Yep.  Plus the destination resorts kept resort lodging open for a few days in order to allow guests already there to figure out how they are getting home.

I know Alta Lodge, GMD, Rustler are all shutting down for the season.  Giving the option of credit for next season or refunds due to the special circumstances.  Technically, Alta Lift operations are "suspended" but clearly the lodge management don't expect them to re-open.

Got emails from the Alterra locations that have my email address about the closing process.  Lifts shut after March 15.  But they aren't kicking people out of resort lodging who are already there.
