As far as sports injurys go, their is no way to 100 percent prevent them.
Humans skiing down a mountian is kind like rolling a egg down a hill with random rocks, somthing is gonna happen in time

With that said you could make a 100 percent way to prevent injurys and people will just remove the saftey feature becuse it takes away from their style, or is to restrictive to how they ski (look at helmets, for one reason or another alot of people wont use them, when they do help in non catastropic collision s)

Also would have to look at the cost and weight of said safety additions, skiing is already ecpensive, and no company will add saftey for free. Also is you tacknon another 2-300$ for a safer ski, how many skiiers cant afford is anymore?

Even the seemingly fool proff way ofnnot skiing still can get you hurt

Black diamonds, the easy way down, less moving hazzards

Powder cords, however, aren't tied to your feet. It's just a big streamer that comes off of your ski that you tuck the loose end into your pant cuff or whatever so you have a trail to follow to your ski. Thing about that, though, is the ski is almost always farther downhill than your expect.
Great idea that PT can improve upon. As the cords pull loose, they activate helium cartridges which fill balloons that can then be spotted by Condor's drone.
