Slater's 50 50

Customers can create thier own gourment burgers...  The restaurant's signature 50/50 burger is 50% ground meat and 50% ground bacon!!!  Hello!!  Hello Scrumptious deli umptious!!!!

opps.... sorry for the misplacement..

but really doesn't this sound off the hook!!!!  I am bringing this concept over to Steinhoff's  - talk them into making it a Superbowl special - Call it the Eli special or mayB the ELIte burger!!!!

Is the bacon pre-cooked before it's ground up and added to the beef?

that's a good question.  I was wondering the same thing.  May have to give them a call.

I'm thinking the bacon is alreay cooked, then grounded up...  mayB not fully cooked but pretty close.

Uncooked bacon in the middle of a burger could give a whole new meaning to the term: "Super Bowl"!
