Do you guys see these in the backcountry in your neck of the woods? What do you think of them?

evergreen
Looks like it be fun in the tug Hill area, places with snow but no hill.  Id like to see how it does and other types of snow, groomed trails and icy conditions.

I thought this was going to be about ski bikes, not the snow sled version of a motor cycle, cool video. Here is one on ski bikes, turn the sound off the music is crap. I saw these maybe 10 years ago in Colorado, never seen one on the east coast.

Don't ski the trees, ski the spaces between the trees.

That ski motorcycle is the coolest I have seen in a while.   I can see the BC really opening up to the public, the forrest service is likely going nuts.

Wonder if it really works that well in all snow conditions.   If so, the market will be huge.

It's horrible just like the snowmobile. Worst thing ever invented. Noisy/loud/polluting/dangerous. The 2 stoke engine is horrible! It's nothing like a car engine. Stinks to high heaven. They banned them from yellowstone because the air pollution levels were so high in the middle of yellowstone! Horrible.

"That is so cool, did you build yours as well?"

No. I am not that skilled with the tools. That is a Sledgehammer brand skibike. Made by those fun luvin' Germans over there in Austria.  http://sledgehammer.at.www224.your-server.de/en/skibike

You can pick them up in the USA at http://skibikefun.com They carry multiple brands.

The new one looks pretty sweet.
