Smuggs Conditions

Unfortunately most if not all people I know don't want to ski bumps and glades, if they are even core enough to get up early and get there at open.

One of the reasons I have sympathized with Glade Runner lately is because he is someone who is incredibly dedicated to the sport and always wants to get better.  I need to find people my age who are similarly dedicated to the cause.

Perhaps if you weren't so obstinate some here would perhaps take you underwing and help you grow into an all mountain skier. A little humility goes a long way.

I have already made a few connections with people on here and plan to do more.

Glade and I have similarly extreme passions for skiing, and connecting with him has had the effect of motivating me to become a more well rounded skier, instead of skiing pretty much only groomers like I did before.  I might not have explored the woods at smuggs at all if it weren't for Glade.

This place was everything I dreamed it would be.   Hall lifts, no crowds, great terrain, tons of trees, deep and new snow.

Yeah, man. This new snow was nice. Sugarbush was real good, Smugg's probably great, too.

Yes it was.  It was a bit of a last minute call, and it was a total score.  Great place, great culture in the parking lot too.

Skied Smuggs for the first time on Fri. 4/14/17. Great spring skiing. Warm, sunny, nice corn snow. Awesome ski area.

Was up at Smuggs earlier this week to see an old friend, except for where there had been snow making it was bare to the top. They got massacred in  the warm spells.
