Sunny & Beautiful. Hadn't had snow for a while when we skied it, but still skied pretty nice. Mountains seem like they'd be fun after a storm, but the lift systems are a bit weird (took me 3 lifts to get to the "summit" chair at Solitude, for instance).
Anyway, here are some pics:
A few times on our trip, we said: if it was ever like this in the east, we'd be saying how these conditions were some of the best we'd ever skied. But out west, we were waiting for more snow. Those pictures are coming up in the Alta/Snowbird and Jackson Hole threads I'll start when I get some time later.
You significant other has perfect form in that picture. I bet she had a big smile on her face. Good to see she does not have the chin in the chest habit

Agreed that both ski areas have unique lift setups/topography, especially Solitude, which is why some people love it and some people stay away. Not sure if you were joking about needing three lifts to get to the summit chair -- do you mean from the bottom of Eagle?
I parked at that other parking lot (Moonbeam?), and our general plan was to work from skier's left Solitude to skier's right Brighton, then back again.
