Some summer skiing to cool ya off

My son is in Zermatt skiing and training on the glacier at up to 12500 feet of elevation for the next 3 weeks. Zermatt is the largest summer ski area in the world with close to 3000 feet of Vert. They board the 1st of 3 gondis or trams at 6:30. It takes 45 mins to get to the skiing and ski until around noon.
I’ll post some photos and if you want to see all the photos follow Northwood skiing on Facebook or Instagram     My son in the water which is glacier run off and very refreshing

Week 1 complete
They are taking the weekend off snow to do some hikes and rest do laundry etc Some more photos

Today’s additions
The NW Nysef coaching staff including thier new addition Thomas Vonn ex coach and hubby of Lindsay Vonn - he is far right in the photo  And once off snow some afternoon dry land training in a farmers hayfield You evidently can see the Matterhorn from everywhere

Z you and your wife are to be commended for providing this young man with the experience of a lifetime .
 Many never have the opportunity to follow a dream . Your sacrifices and willingness to provide will imprint an indelible mark on your son and will be a memory that lasts ..

Some more photos from the last couple days
No skiing on Wednesday as a t storm came thru. They will make up for it by skiing Saturday this week instead. Form snow returned today
