Song Mtn 4/3/16 Old Skool and Obsolete

I got the LE heads up from Harv so I decided to head to Song. I was thinking I may meet Glade knowing how dedicated he is to his 100 days I was sure he'd be there. Harv nailed it and it was every bit as good as he said it would be. There was about a foot of obsolete mid winter pow that was just enough for bottom less turns if you kept speed.

Was there any base under the LE snow?

we got a text message and was like - what! where!  and WOW.

Here is to winter in April!  Give us more of that.

Anyone know how much more snow did they got up that way Sunday night into Monday?

No base. We had long discussion about snowmaking and almost bagged it as we didn't want to scratch up our skis

Wait for Skimore but I would think you'll be ok tomorrow. It's still snowing here and temps look to be holding.

I have always dreamed of checking out the bubble at Song.

Skimore is kidding about the weather heads up.  He's usually giving me the heads up on LE snowfall and I take advantage when I can.  Looks like you guys were alone again? Hard to believe there weren't more CNY pow hounds getting after it.

This morning yes, but my buddies who stuck around said a couple gapers from Greek Peak showed up and were floundering around

Did 4 laps on Jupiter yesterday after work.  Fat rock skis do the trick.
