Latest discussions have the storm progressing as expected, but stressing that snow totals will be VERY elevation dependent.

I’ll be plenty happy to see rain in the valleys as we drive up to Placid later this afternoon.

You got it!  Rumor (report) has the Little Whiteface chair is open, but I spent the day lapping the summit (well, just two, and no, Summit Quad didn’t run) and I didn’t see a single skier come down from the Little Whiteface summit.  Wind in brutal, I wouldn’t want to sit on that chair right now!

Hard to tell what WF got, given how wind affected everything was.  Protected areas in the woods were knee deep, but not light.  I do hope the spine of the Greens skied better than WF today.  I made the best of it, but lift served pistes were rough....

Insulated waders will be needed for this first day of trout season

It looks like interior VT and the Adirondacks are getting a nice 2-4 through tonight.

I roto-tilled and reseeded my lawn a couple weeks ago. All the rains been great for that

We are selling our place. I dropped a bunch of chemical weed and feed (first time ever) and tossed out some seed. We'll see what happens.

So should everyone move to the southwest and we build a big pipeline to take water from the east? Or do you wish it would never rain anywhere?

Easter Sunday was a decent day, if I recall correctly.  We had a good day visiting New Paltz Monday.  Tuesday and Wednesday were really nice.  Today was decent until just now.  At least from NYC to the LoHud...I’m not seeing this “rain every other day”.  In the past three weeks I’ve only missed one Saturday soccer game due to rain.  The grass IS looking good, though.  What’s the matter JWx, what’s really got you down?

It’s going to snow next week in LCC, and Snowbird will be open.  Maybe you need to plan a trip!

Dudes.   This pattern sucks.    

Been wanting to get a construction project started but the ground is still saturated- can’t get the equipment in without destroying the yard. The material is arriving in a few weeks and we need to get the foundation in.

I was out cutting trees, clearing the sight and sinking into the mud almost to the boot top today. Not good while operating a chain saw.

I went to Magic today to pick up the black chair I bought last year.  All of the peaks were white at 2000' and above.  It was a nice sight to see as the bugs and humidity slowly approach.
