Storm Speculation 1/7/17

Long range forecast has something coming in for the 7th and 8th. Little early to tell, but it sounds promising. maybe 10" in the southern Daks

For Old Forge/Eagle Bay area, the forecast is for 1-2 feet over the next 3 days

Planning my first ever trip to McCauley on Friday, $12 tickets to boot, now where did I leave my flask?

News just had this, feet of snow for that area tonight unt tomorrow night. Old Forge getting it good now.

Mine will have some fireball-see ya there.

Talked to my friend that works at McCauley at 7am and he said they got skunked with only 4". Big Moose/Stillwater area got 2'+, but no hills there

And it's still snowing at Big Moose this morning.  Let's hope the snowfall makes its way just a little further south down 28 as the day goes on.

Yea - the snow bands are quite a bit North of Old Forge. If thing don't move south I'll stay put and not go down there.

Yeah, blew it off, too bad, have to wait till they get dumped on. Sure woulda been fun if only the winds were a little South.
