Final estimated snow totals. (Wish it showed the whole northeast):

That map is way off for my area. The drop off was much more substantial than that north of the lakes and it doesn't take into account mountain and elevation snowfall.

Plattekill is in the 8-10 inch zone (I think) and they got more too. The map is a guess based on a hundred (made up number) points of observation. Those points are invariably in the valleys and limited in scope. Still it gives some kind of a record for where the snow fell - admittedly imperfect.

This is two days old, and not what fell, but what was on the ground yesterday:

Didn't have the electricity/internet access to snag the actual NWS snowfall map when it was issued.

The original said 20-25 in the Berkshires, 25-30 in the Southern Whites. I'm not entirely sure what the Cats were.

FWIW, I saw one news report of 32 inches. I believe it was in western Mass.

I call BS on that..with out a pic with a yard stick no f''n way...the snow fell at or above freezing everywhere. As it was falling it was compacting..I watched a news reporter stick a ruler in the snow at a site that reported 19"..the snow didn't even come close to covering a 12" ruler

No ruler, but this definitely looks like it's more than a foot to me.

Say the back of a chairlift is 12" tall, this could easily be called 24"

Noice! Almost went Berk East instead of Cannon. Couldn't justify the drive distance and I didn't want to deal with the carnage, alt routes, etc. That Liftline pic looks freaking sweet. I suspect Berk East was probably the best place to earn em' this past weekend due to location of the storm and Berk East's excellent straight up pitch/vert with no run out.
