I have no idea what that GIF means, SBR, but I'm pretty sure it was intended to be funny and it's nice to see you respond to humor with...you know....humor.
Don't know about the "storm", but the LE machine has cranked up here in CNY. We got 3-4 inches last night with another tree to 4 expected today, and for everyday this week up to and including Sunday.
GP should be in damn good shape this weekend ---- I'll hit it tuesday!!

That's Fake Effect. It'll fall where it's largely wasted. I'd ski it if I lived near the Tug Hill too but nobody (in their right minds) would travel to a plateau to go skiing - I don't care how much falls there.
Nooobody in their right mind would travel to the plateau to go skiing. I guess I'm a nobody or out of my mind, that is why I'm Mad. Plateau is much closer than West Virginia.
where is the moisture coming from ?i dont see any anywhere
As weird as it may seem the water vapor satellite data seems to indicate that a wave from the pacific has come into BC and launched a lot of water vapor and ice crystals that are getting all the way over to us, but that does not sound reasonable or as if it could sustain a lot of snowfall. There does not seem to be a gulf or Atlantic feed to this so I guess I am with you. For Gore, I suspect the real moisture will come from the Hudson.
This weekends event starts as warm air advection from the Gulf of Mexico. Then a short wave from the north spins up low on the coast..
