Incoming Nor'Eaystuh and no storm speculation thread! C'mon!

Things falling into place...told work I'm taking off. Friend who's family has a rental house in the catskills is vacant tonight...should be positioned nicely to watch it happen by around midnight tonight..

Just need some...SNOW!

Seems like Storm Spec threads have fallen out of favor, not sure why. I like going back to them.

Does look like the forecast has gotten a trace colder, or maybe storm track has shifted a bit to the east.

Missed "Stella" last year due to being trapped on travel for work 1000s of miles away.

This is a lock for the Catskills of 12+ with 20 very possible at the summits.  Gore is a harder forecast since it's still unclear how far north the real precip falls.

I wonder how far you can make it at Belleayre on skins before being stopped and harassed....

I do know of a couple alternatives in the area that may work.

Deer Run would be pretty easy, I think. Roaring Brook could be a little trickier, but once you're out of sight of the lodge, you'd probably be fine.
