I'm at Jiminy Peak in a ski in/out unit.  Was snowing by 4am.  Not windy at all.  In the 16-20 inch zone.

Was supposed to fly to Boston this afternoon.  Moved my flight to a day early and drove last night.  Don't actually have to be in Boston until Friday. I think the Mass Pike will be okay by then.

Heard that the speed limit on the Mass Pike is at 40 mph this morning in the snow zone.

Are we getting a TR or what? I'd love me some Jiminy storm pics.

Just picked up demo skis.  Opted to fly carry-on only with boots but left my skis at home.  Jiminy has 8-hr lift tickets so I wasn't trying to get first chair.  Would rather ski later into the afternoon when everyone else goes in. ;-)

2-3 inches on the slopes at Jiminy this morning.  Wasn't fluffy powder but a snowball wouldn't hold together.

Stopped snowing heavily by 10:30 or so.  Snow report says 12-20 inches expected.

Gore has maybe 3 inches total when I left around 3:00. It was a fairly dense snow - great for snowballs. Not much accumulation during the day.

The blizzard has arrived in the Berkshires.  Started around 2:00 but noticeably heavier by 3:00.  I'd guess at least 1 inch on hour but could be 2 in/hr given the accumulation.  No wind at the base.  No huge gusts even at the summit after the storm moved in.

All the runs I did after 3:30 were first tracks.  Fair to say that the beginners were having trouble moving on the easy greens once there was 2+ inches of fresh snow.

Total upset down in coastal NJ. Hasn't even covered the grass and is tapering off...

Hopefully performs better up north.

6+ here in Beacon/Wappingers.  Weather channel reporting 11 in Newburgh.  Currently snowing hard.

More importantly......the 5:30 report from Platty is 10-12” and dumping......and Powder Daize is officially ON for tomorrow!

Tapering off in Albany area. Looks like East is doing better. Berkshires/soVT/NH/Maine looks better than north.

Sucks for you Whiteface folks. Bad luck this year.

Per the radar the money spots for this are the Berkshires, southern VT, NH, and ME eventually.  I doubt the ADK's squeeze more then 6 inches from this one.
