Storm Speculation: April 3-4, 2015

Snow Friday night into Saturday????  Starting to see it in the high peaks forecasts......

Ay Yi Yi...wife will be thrilled to hear I may disappear again!

Looks like there will be some sweet late season Pow in the Chic-Chocs.

That map would put WF in the 6-10 range??  Will be there Thurs - Sat, so fingers crossed.

Understanding that it's a 100 hr forecast. It looks like 8-16" event..As of today...

Starting to see more sites forecasting accumulation amounts.....

Open snow is showing 2-4" for Whiteface by Sat am but windy. Anyone have any other reports?

People were talking 2-5 at the mountain.  In town some were saying 6.  NWS is at 2-6 through tomorrow, but could be heavier accumulating snows above 1,000 ft.  Mountain-Forecast calling for 7 at 4,800 for Whiteface.  Be interesting to see what happens.  Was 62 when we left Whiteface an hour ago!

2-5 inches of snow forecast for our side of the 'Daks, the Old Forge area where it is currently snowing . But we also have a high wind advisory in effect until 8pm
