Sure wish we could get a weather pattern like the past month in December in the form of snow. If that happened all the ski areas could go without much snowmaking for the rest of the season. And we could ski into May everywhere.

I think that blowdown took out some sweet old growth in the Five Ponds Wilderness. I'd heard some parts of the western adk are still unhike-able.
