Summer Weather 2018

Holy crap, it’s hot. Mowed the lawn in north creek this morning at 930. It was already 80. 93 in Queensbury now.

We've been floating in inner tubes all day.  Even that is hot.

Same thing on Long Lake. Adirondack air conditioning. Power outage in Long Lake due to a burning transformer on rt 28N between Blue Mountain Lake and LL. Raquette River Mango on tap.

94 here on the St Lawrence , had a 100 ft cottonwood cut , stumped , all lateral roots ground up and everything removed  and then backfilled with topsoil last Thursday .

So i  seeded and strawied the battlefield and am watering 3 times a day in this heat dome . So my tower sprinker is keeping me cool BUT then again, there is THE RIVER  and we have been getting nice steady breezes of it since Saturday

97 in Albany.

All i know I was up at the Cape enjoying the nice Northern Atlantic Ocean breeze only to return to Africa hot. Ugh.
Yesterday I spent the entire afternoon in the pool.

Wow!  It's only 94 in Raleigh.

Only 90 today seems cooler than past three days . We just finished working out so time to cruise up River now to Oak Point for some swimming and chillaxin . Life is good

a little reprieve this weekend..then back into the heat and humidity next week

Yesterday was horrible, I spent about 20 minutes outside working on my car and ended up completely drenched in sweat.

Holy monsoon! Whatever rain we needed we have now. Turn it and the friggin humidity off please!

unfortunately the pattern basically stays the same for the next 2 weeks...there will be a few  dry and less humid days here and there..

Yeah, Sunday looks to be one of those days. Lucky for me because we're doing clams that day

Ugh weather sucks have 9 guests here for a week since last Friday  , 4 of them staying at their parents but here for some daily meals .

The rest of the gang is staying here which is no problem at all .But this horrible weather prevents most of the outdoor stuff we all were looking forward too. Effing rain and sticky nasty humidity to boot just rots ...booo .

They all wait all damn summer for this week and its been so damn nice all summer and then this crap weather just hangs around .. Many festival events have either been cancelled or moved to smaller indoor venues  

That sucks, Warp. But knowing you and your crew you are making lemonade out of lemons.
