TR from the Lake Tahoe area 23rd - 28th of January 2011

Warm and sunny the whole trip.......highs in the mid 50's = Spring Conditions! The video was shot on the 28th of Jan at 3:00 pm at Alpine Meadows.....It was a great day!

I would take that day over a powder day..

This video was taken on the south side of Alpine Meadows on the 28th of January at mid day. The conditions change quite dramatically from the northeast facing slopes, hard and icy, to the south facing slopes, soft and spring like.

Mike thanks for posting this video TR.  I think my favorite was "Traverse." Good music and seemed the most "stable."

Seeing Broken Arrow reminded me how far I've come as a skier since I was at Squaw in the 90s. I always remember looking at Broken Arrow and Granite Chief thinking ... "no way!"

Would love to get back there to see how those mountains look now.
