Very nice. Looks like a fun time.

Twig fest looks like a great time. I’m glad it was a success.

looks like everyone had a blast! So sorry I missed it again, it seems like I am cursed. My friend Jon reports that he had an excellent first day at the mighty Nickle peak. Good work Jeff

While you New Yorkers are getting the big storm, we Hinterlandians are getting the cold front that is causing it. It was effing chilly out there this afternoon!

I finally tested the newly built junkboards today. Expectations were exceeded! What are junkboards, you ask? Well, combine a discarded snowboard with a bandsaw, belt sander, three-pin bindings and some t-nuts and you'll get the idea. Full build pics to come soon in Gear X.

What a great name for skis.  I once heard that JBL (the company that makes speakers) stood for "Junk But Loud."
Sent from the driver's seat of my car while in motion.

It’s nice that they put every single town name on the map. Down here it would just show NYC, Albany & Syracuse (maybe Boston)  and we would just have to mentally insert ourselves in the appropriate spots.

We are a very inclusive society up here in Hinterlandia. Every snowflake lands somewhere.

Carpe Diem!  Signed, sealed and delivered today at Limberlost, a full posse showed up to score freshies while they lasted.

Looks like a great day, TD. I am so glad that I spent my day driving back and forth to the city in a blizzard, and standing around in in a stuffy conference room in the middle time. NOT.
