It is appropriate on this Thanksgiving Day that I thank NYSB for selecting me as the winner of the custom ski contest. After being selected, I started the process with Vin at Whiteroom Skis of designing every aspect of my new boards. Information was provided to Vin about my current ski dimensions, what terrain I prefer, skiing style. Then it was time to present my ideas about dimensions, rocker, camber and turning radius. It took some back and forth, but a decision was made that combined positive qualities in both of my current skis.
They are 175 length, 130/90/115 with a 15.5 turning radius. There is 6mm camber with a 22cm tip rocker providing a medium-plus flex. Next was designing the top sheet. Not being a very artistic fellow, I presented Vin 3 drawings. After some suggestions by Vin, we settled on a variation of one of them. I received them yesterday! The quality is fantastic. Everything I imagined they would be. Once again Harv, THANK YOU!!! Happy Thanksgiving to all the NYSBloggers! ![]()

If I had won I would have sent them a full frontal of Kim Basinger to split down the middle.
Would that be tips up or tits up

It’s funny how that sort of indicates age isn’t it? I would have figured Pee Tex for a Raquel Welch fan though.
