Dude... Sabath again... great choice, last year if I recall correctly, it was the Wizard.  The skiing speaks for itself.  The camera and production work are awesome too.... Great trannies... the first fade from the trees to above the tree line is really cool.

Ugh. Seems unfair to post that after I skied rock hard conditions in freezing cold temps all weekend.

I might have to bump up my plans to move out west. After last year's debacle, I said I wouldn't move unless we got another year as bad as 2015-2016. This one is just about as bad as that one.

Might be time to leave this graybird land of low snow totals and head somewhere more worthy.

Oh, and great video, even if all it did was make me angry at myself.

I put a shit ton of work and effort into this one, it's probably my last season to do edits since I will hopefully be entering a nursing program this next year. It was also the first year since 2010 where we had the kinds of conditions I really wanted to capture since I started playing with cameras and editing.

@nepa- I tried other music but Sabbath just always feels right.

@camp & Marcski- That line is one I call "Lovely". It's real steep for the first 50 feet or so, maybe 55 for the first 20 feet then it progressively gets less steep onto the apron and run out obviously. When the snow is good it's a perfect set up for straight lining. I don't usually go for one big straight line when touring but for certain lines the fun/thrill factor makes it worth it. I haven't been able to ski this one like this for 7 years now. There are some other shots in the edit that are as steep but not as long or appear as dramatic I guess.

@mattchuck- If you want to you should do it. If you wait another year you will be one year older when you do. :)

@JTG- It's not too easy to figure out at first but it becomes easier. Some of the quick clips and timing a did in this one was a real step up for me. they still aren't perfect but I'll take it. :) Keep at it, it's a really fun hobby, I love creating things and I love skiing so this has been an obvious fit for me and I bet it probably is for you too.
