The Pope is a Rock Star

This quote, if real, is incredible. As a former Catholic I am blown away:

First a political thread and now a religious thread ? You have strayed oh prodigal one.

Catholic history has that the last days are fast approaching with but a few ( or one ) Pope left prior to the Anti-Christ and false prophet taking power. So, a Pope straying even further from Christianity is to be expected. Some feel Francis is doing this.

Remember the Fatima " miracle " ? Two of those children died shortly there after. The third entered a convent and was not heard from for decades. One day, she appeared at the Vatican demanding to see John Paul and him only. It is said she had a message for him from Mary concerning the last days and how the Catholic Pope(s) would sell out the church and turn heretic. John Paul was reportedly very disturbed by the message.

The pope is the mang.

I don't care about religion. I am in awe of a dude who came up through one of the most archaic instutions in the history of man, and has begun to transformed it.  Dude HAMMERED Saint Patricks Cathedral for spending $117M on a renovation and then walks in there and rocks the place.

I'm in the same boat.  I'm a Jew that was raised as a Catholic.  I tend to find more negatives than positives in religion, but yet, I think Pope Francis has it figured out.  Hopefully, the old school Capos in the Vatican don't take him out.

Well... you can see by my original post that I had a nagging suspicion that is was too good to be true.  That quote plays right to my specific issues about the Catholic church.

Still probably the best pope ever, but I may have to reserve rock star status, for now.

EDIT: I am all poped out. No more pope please.
