at around 12:30 I skied slide 2 and cut over to 3 thru the trees. It was the best conditions i can ever recall in the slides - i did not hit a single rock and the powder was deep though not all that light.
I'll add some photos when the person i was skiing with sends them to me later.
Also the top of the bowl above Slide 1 had a pretty large avalanche sometime between 11 and noon. I didn't see it slide and it doesn't look that serious from the lift but once you are below it on the traverse you can see the slab was several feet thick. The fracture line is a couple hundred feet long. The avalanch stoped short of the traverse. The very top looked pretty heavily wind loaded so i'd be very careful coming in from the highway if anyone is thinking of doing that.
