Now, can we all give out the collective scream for NEW LIFTS. Please. Forget condos, until those lifts get upgraded nothing is going to change there. Two high speed triples or quads would totally change that mountain... but we all know that already.
Lets hope these guys can pull it out. Handing the shop over to Sports Page was a very good move. They also just hired a new racing director. It is just hard to develop a world class resort... 30 minutes from Gore. I was always surprised that their connection to Great Escape Lodge never really helped out. I thought that was a no brainier. If the need was there, there is plenty of empty condos within a 10 minute drive.... not really sure they need more.
I agree with the lifts, I would also appreciate an uphill policy, for exercise after work I would love to be able to skin up. I would be happy to pay for an uphill ticket and buy a beer afterwards. The target of the new management for a Jimminy Peak type resort is right on the money. I do think that there is enough to do in the area to support condos and timeshares.
