West Mountain "Breakfast Special"

I took a trip over to West Mountain yesterday (1/20/11)........ Not really much of a trip, as West is less than a 1/2 mile from my house. My wife had mentioned that West had a breakfast and lunch special, so I went on their website and sure enough, she was right. For $11.95 you get 2 hours of skiing and breakfast. Their lunch special is $15.95 for 2 hours and includes lunch.

You need to buy a $5 West Mtn ski card, a one time expense, which loads your time onto the card.You keep the card in your pocket, and through some new technology,the card gets read as you go through the lift line. Your two hours of skiing does not start until you go through the scanner for the first time. Another nice feature is that you can reload your card via the West Mtn website, which keeps you out of the ticket line. All and all, a pretty sweet deal.

Fun seeing the old stomping grounds.  I have been wanting to get back to West for years now.

Nice vid Mike!  Fun to see West in daylight.  Geez, for $11.95 I'll have to go in to work late.

As some know, their slopeside restaurant has a real nice window wall that faces the slope. Not sure if this is were they serve these meals.

West skied great today. I'm a West Rat this season.
