Oh dear.  I just watched it.  Not as good as the recent one where the skier slides backwards off a ridge, but close.  

What the F was that guy thinking?  The snow was good?  How would he know, he was side slipping the entire way.  I don't think a helmet would have done much good even if he was wearing one.  Hope he gets some new gear and a lesson before he gets back on the mountain.

Trying to give a guy like this a lesson is why I will probably never be an instructor.  Cleaning up a guy like this is why I will probably never be patrol.

I really doubt that lessons were ever a thought in his previously undamaged brain.  And, listen to the sound track. I admit I did. I found it fascinating to listen to the patrol guy do his work. I'll bet he would s**t if he knew every one of his words was being recorded by a device in his pocket. But he did a good job. Great lesson in how to deal with an 18 year old jong with blood gushing from his head at the bottom of a chute.

Awesome. He almost got seriously screwed up like five times. Real smart getting in front of a tumbling sled.

You got to say that go pro makes some pretty durable cameras to make it thru that cr@p show.

I've done the Ridge and its really fricking steep. Not some where that anyone would ever on purpose want to take your gear off.

I don't even get that. The guy didn't get hurt?

I guess the sled is so important or expensive that it is worth risking death.

At least the dude with the sled crashed attempting something worth while-----I thought fer sure he was going to get planted by that sled.

Hmmm, not so sure about that ^^

After it became apparent that the guy wasn't going to get run over by the sled I was half expecting him to go over, pull the rope and have the thing start back up.  That would have been sweet.

Doesn't anyone know how to self arrest? or at least try.
