What happened to Skizee?

What ever happened to Skizee? I used to think these things were so cool because you could pretty much ski wherever you want. I can't seem to find any new information about them online. Does anyone know if they still make them or anything similar?

What does it do push you up the hill?  How do you get it back down for the next run?

It's supposed to be used to go up and down hills. I guess if you think about it is kind of like a human snowmobile. The downside to it is you will have far less maneuverability and will probably be pretty unstable when when turning on steeper hills.

That doesn't look like fun to me.

Looks like it could be fun. I wouldn't buy one, but if someone gave me one I'd find a way to use it.

Yeah I would love to try one I just would never buy one. I guess that's why they don't make them anymore no one would actually want to buy one.

It looks like the way today's teenager would enjoy the great outdoors and "exercise."  No calories were harmed in this form of Nordic skiing.
