What's the best choice for this Sunday

Thehof
This post was updated on .
Weather is hard to predict along with conditions
We've narrowed it down to 4 places
Plattekill     Home mountain
Gore.          Been there many times
Magic.          New for us
Berkshire East.    New for us

Anybody with any good ideas please chime in
Thanks

I think the only things that could retain good snow are possibly northern Dacks and NoVT....IF this storm tracks OK....I'm watching this as well, canned this weekend, but may make last minute decision to head up tomorrow night...

Your question is a tough one that I can't answer. But I will answer anyway. LOL

If you are going for the day on Sunday I'd make the call at 4pm tomorrow after the new model runs are incorporated into the NWS forecasts. If you can't get far enough north to stay in the all snow zone (WF, NoVT) may make some sense to look for the warmest forecast.

I still want to see the all snow zone play out for WF...if it does, ill be heading there.  NoVT is not my usual area...and blowing $$$ there ain't worth it since I have a WF pass....

Looks like our Sunday trip to Belle may be back in the cards.  I'm seeing more forecasts come into line.....and north and east seems to be the trend.  What looked like a gully washer for the cats a few days ago might turn out to be light rain.  Unfortunately, as much as I'd like to head up to Placid Sat PM, what looked like a foot plus for the Dacks a few days ago might end up just a few inches.

Agree with Harvey, head as far north as you have to to find where the snow fell, or stick with warmer temps down south.

Of course, who knows what the forecast does over the next 24....

Problem is the heavy snows, at least right now, seem to be pushed to NoVT, NoNH, and Maine.  Consistently seeing WF forecast in the 2-4 range, although it should be all snow.  Boo...I wanted dumpage so I could go Sun/Mon.  Maybe I'll hold out Slides hope for day tripping Mon.....

Magic might be too far south to get the heavy snow....

Good luck Camp - hope you get hammered big time!!

We're looking at a late March trip up to Stowe for some nice spring corn skiing on a great base - couldn't get up there any earlier than that based on the kids schedules.

Sunday was brick hard and fast at Belleayre. It seems like everything got wet and froze. The place was pretty empty, didn't have to wait in line once. For some reason they left a huge ungroomed stripe down the middle of belleayre run, and didn't even bother to groom Deer Run which was hard and badly rutted. We ended up lapping Roaring brook for most of the day so the kids could cruise. I practiced my switch riding and butters since we were riding mellow runs anyway.

My prayers were answered. It snowed basically all day. Trial conditions were much better than I thought. Since hardly anyone was there it got better as day went on. Blockbuster was really really nice after a really tasty Lunch. Pulled pork and mothers milk ( just one) I even felt some freshies under foot over on the double side. I think I may go back Saturday. If it warms up a little the woods may be back in play. There's got to be two foot plus in there. I scared myself pretty good going off map Sunday, like skiing a bobsled run.
