In Cape Cod related news.....we were shocked to find over Memorial Day that Liam’s at Nauset Beach in Orleans is no more.  Storms this spring claimed the building.  

Just back from a 9 day stint there , yeah some of the outer beaches oceanside got whacked pretty good last winter . CHatham was awesome once again

It is but in a really good way. I would go back there in a second. The place is the best people watching. Nobody judges anyone and everyone is respectful.

Glad u guys enjoyed it and yeah PtowN is a great people watching experience. We also loved biking in the dunes and forest trails there then cooling off at Race pt beach . I have done the entire Cape Cod bike trail several times ( we lived on the Cape when i was on Sabattical leave one year  ) some of the best road biking  in the east IMO .

You mentioned Chatham ---- we stayed in Hyanis on Monday night. Tuesday we stopped at the Chatham Bars Inn and had lunch at their outdoor bar. WOW!!!! What a beautiful place! Great margarita's and the lobster nachos were bangin'.

Sounds like you two are getting bit by the Cape bug , it is a great place , beaucoup laid back , beautiful beaches damn near everywhere and EFFING AWESOME seafood . I gotta ck out the place u guys stayed ay , it s new. To  me but that location is saweeeet !

Hyannis is not like the rest. Of the cape , i kinda avoid it now but we did go there for an art show on th Harbour this time and i was amazed at th number of NEW mcmansions there on the water since the last time i was there .

Hey i got 37 mpg on the 2018 OB Ltd on that trip . At one point the guage said a hard to believe 38.4 after 175 miles on interstate 89 . I had cruise on at 70 and that whip gqve us a damn fine ride loving that 18 .

Witchy!! I forgot to thank you for both of your recommendations. Both Mac's and the Hindu were outstanding!! Fin, the dog on the Hindu, was fun to watch.

Aside from the beautiful sunset, I liked trying to imagine the Hindu during WW2 with a machine gun turret mounted on it, taking on German U boats.

No Cape for us this year 😢. Saving for Colorado in February tho! 🎿

Yeah, the Captain told us some of the history regarding the Hindu ---- too bad that schooner couldn't talk.

I take all my vacation time in the summer. Off to Lake Champlain Friday for a long weekend. Stay right on the lake in South Hero
