Jeff,  Spot on report, if yesterday turns out to be the last day so be it, doesn't get much better. On your last ride up the summit at the end of the day I was a couple chairs ahead of you. Skyward stayed excellent all day.

Great report!!!  I was torn between Gore and Whiteface yesterday and it sounds like I couldn't have gone wrong with either.  As you know I was considering Whiteface for today (my weekend is Sunday-Monday) and your feedback has been great but sadly they closed the mountain today until next weekend (maybe) but based on your report I definitely would have been there today.

Can't believe they didn't open the Slides yesterday. I had all of my equipment with me. No announcement or nothing. Never going there again.

Gunny, didn't realize it was your first time up to WF... you sure picked a winner!
Snowhunter, if they open next weekend I'm sure it'll be well worth the trip up.
Endo, in that last pic of mine from the top of Skyward, there's a guy in orange over in the trees on skier's right... is that you?
Bumps, the slides were looking pretty good to me...

The views from the top were amazing, Derek's pick of the day was Hoyt's, I loved cruising the Wilmington. We waited in line at the beginning of the day and finished right when the bottom lift closed. Could not keep from smiling all 299.8 miles home.

Jeff,  No that wasn't me in the orange, I took off when he was at the top, no one at all on the trail and I couldn't hold back, had it all to myself. What a day, wish we could get one more just like it but the weather isn't cooperating much.

Excellent report and photos. Whiteface is a great mountain that gets even better in the spring.

I get that view across that field every time I drive to WF or LP year round.  It's one of my fav views.  I call that area my imaginary golf course since I think it would make a great course with that view.  If I win the lottery I'll buy that land.

I have that photo framed on my wall

You don't need to win the lottery.  Just and put it on a credit card like Les Otten did for The Canyons.  Build it and they'll come.

Coach, I think my photo came out a little better than yours, LOL.  But seriously that's a view I'd never get tired of seeing.

Hey Sno, weren't you up at the Face over the weekend?  How did it go for you & your dad?

Looks way sweeter without a golf course and the trophy homes that come with em. That would really F up that view imo.

I never had the opportunity to ski there, hopefully I will if I ever get back that way. 3 more years of school........ugh.

I'm not a golfer, but even if I was I think I'd still agree with Raisin' AZ
