Whiteface is this year's World Snowfall leader.... :)

The news just said Whiteface has received more snow fall this season  than any other ski area in the world. 

Face is a full 100 inches above last season's total snowfall.

The Pacific northwest is having a great year.  
Here are the BASE depths at Baker
Base at Heather Meadows:
222 inches
       
Base at Pan Dome:
252 inches

I have never skied a place that gets more snow than Mt. Baker...the official numbers is only 1500 vertical feet, but this place is insane!

Alta has 483 inches listed as a season total.

Maybe the author meant most in New York State?  227 inches is pretty darn good.  

I couldn't find a total on Snow Ridge's site.

The article clearly has issues. In one spot the author spelled Whiteface correctly, and in another it's listed as White Face.

They received the most snowfall in the western world in a 7 day period.
