Whiteface vs Gore

I don't know either place well enough to talk about specific trails.  I just remember being at Gore and having to skate and double pole in certain sections and thinking how weird it was.  Maybe that's true at WF too and I either missed those spots or just don't remember them.  I do remember the terrain being pretty mellow at WF once you were below mid.  But overall I thought, and still think, WF had some of the better terrain I've been on in the East.  Wish I lived closer because I really don't like Hunter much at all.

Yes there is a bit of skating at Gore but you can avoid much of it if you know what you are doing.  Hopefully Funky found some locals today to show them around to stuff not exactly on the map.  There weren't many there yesterday...had I planned right I could have been there today...but I was greedy and wanted what little powder there was to myself...

I use to get in debates about the pros and cons WF v. Gore on other forums. I have a clear preference for WF, but I get others do for Gore. I can’t see it, but it seems pointless to argue about it. To each their own.

Don't think there was much of an argument, just a discussion with valid points, which by me anyway, was very much appreciated. :)
