Whitewater Parks in Canton and Potsdam

I think these things are pretty cool when I see what they've got going in western towns:

Miker was telling me about this last fall. There's a pretty sick drop right in Canton on the Grasse river. I'd consider making more drives up North. Kinda far, though, especially considering they want to put one in on the Sac. Hopefully it goes better than last attempts did.

If it went through, I'd bet that Clarkson and SLU would be putting out some really, really good paddlers.

Saw Hank post that today. Back to what I said about those schools producing good paddlers.. The Plattsburgh Expiditionary Studies kids are already pretty damn good. This will do nothing but help.
