Why can't it be five degrees colder?

I'm watching this big green blob move up the radar and although platty might get 3-6" of well needed glop I'm really hoping the temp just stays down and we get two feet of snow.

Is that too much to ask?

LOL. IMO it had to be asked.

Seems like most eastern storms with potential are on the edge. You got your moisture coming outta the ocean, and the cold air has to FIGHT THE POWER!

I'd like to compile a list of "Why can'ts" for eastern skiers.

i don't think 50 miles would do it - closer to 80 to 100 would be perfect

I'd vote to pick up and move WF to the tug hill.  If it were right off I81 between Watertown and Syracuse it would rival Whistler.

I like the way you guys think. Move WF to Tug Hill, Hickory north towards whiteface, and Gore 100 miles east to route four and 100... in VT ;)

Anyway, I might just see how disgusting the weather is tomorrow and ski........... Belleayre.

Does anyone want to come with?

Hehehe. Very funny!

But yea, if the Tug Hill lake effect fell on the ADKs, well it would be a skier's paradise. Imagine the back country skiing.
