It is going to snow and snow big, don't just type about skiing powder it will be here soon. Leave home go to the mountains and ski. The east coast or your job will not care that you have left now is the time to make the decision come home and ski you can type later.

Salt in the wound my friend! For the past 10 years I have been free as a bird to do exactly what you prescribe but alas, this year my job (which I really like and need) prohibits me from doing just what you suggest. Enjoy the pow and I will be there as soon as my responsibilities permit
Damn midweek storms (I didn't say that when I worked weekends, though) Closest I can do is catch the flu Friday morning. I'm pretty sure the trees will still be kinda fluffy.
