whiteface construction?

There is a bunch of material being staged in the Wilmington lot at WF

Anyone know what it's for?

Maybe for the toll road?  Last week we saw paving equipment being hauled up Springfield Rd in Jay by Rifenburg, the company rebuilding the road.

Actually, if anyone has any knowledge on the toll road's condition I'd love to hear it.  I heard they hadn't started paving yet, were just working on retaining walls and etc.

Toll road. Next three weeks, 35 trucks an hour,24 hours a day. Toll road will be open on weekends and only one lane.

I was hoping to bike the toll road this fall and ski it this winter, what do you think my chances are?

LOL, second outing in a month? The thing is that P must have been around for at least 20 years.  When was the Gore Gondi 2000?  In the last 15 yrs Gore has gotten three high speed lifts?

That old Gore getting Whiteface scraps thing is bs at this point.

I asked Aaron for an update on all summer projects. He said ... "two weeks."

Skiing, don't hold me to it but I don't think it will be an issue.  Riding might be.

I wouldn't plan a vacation around biking the toll road this fall.  Much better chance to ski it although they are planning to work as long as the weather permits.

guard rails being replaced along 86 starting today so some material in the Wilmington lot is for that project.

As it happens, the final mile to the castle is being redone at the moment.  The Climb to the Castle is likely gonna be shortened,
