Sno buddy...You got to contain Mountain Creek.  If you're going to post about the weather at Mountain Creek, maybe find a better place than a Zermatt thread. You posted a MC conditions report in a Hunter thread or maybe it was Gore I forget. Too lazy to find other examples.  Have some sympathy.

Dude ,PLEASE stop busting every thread into your own useless personal agenda. Don't care about you and your dad and Hunter and Mountain Creek and cubic ft of snow and Mt Snow on Gore conditions. If you don't like it just don't go. Oh and Harv ,fixedheeln has a new hair style, very pretty.

I'll prolly get 'cused of bein' too sirius, but I think it would be wicked cool if someone who is into BC skiing would take Sno (and possibly Dad) on a little adventure away from Mtn Creek (or maybe at Mtn Creek off trail ).

You know how his attitude changed once he got to ski out west, maybe if he got into enjoying the natural aspect of skiing in NY he might change his perspective a little bit.

I'd take them, but I'm afraid they'd be bored to death by how I ski.  It's that North River thing as Harv said... most people don't get it.  But apparently there's a lot of people who know how to rip the big stuff in the BC - if he's a strong DH skier then show him how it's done!  They can't rent gear, right?

Sno is turning into Jalapeno mac & Cheese kid. We can't let that happen. For those who have been living under a rock, the vid is of a spoiled brat kid from L.I. that skied for Killington Mountain School.

Hardly seems fair to compare snoloco to the douche in the video.

Going back under my rock now.

I've gone off-trail at Mountain Creek.  Did it last year quite a bit.  Skied the bike trails on Vernon Peak and the lift-line on Bear Peak.  NJ trees are too tight to ski except where maintained for non-skiing uses.  Unfortunately the way this year is looking, I will be doing zero skiing off the trails.

I have been living under a rock and didn't feel like listening to 9 mins of yelling. What are they yelling about?

Kid is drunk and wants Jalapeno mac and cheese, but is asked to leave because he tried to bring in beer. Kid calls the guy a loser because he works in a restaurant, etc. Guy keeps his cool, kid gets tackled and restrained until cop shows up to cuff him. Kid cries. Apparently kid is a good skier for Killington.

Hatching up scam to deliver to my boss in order to get free day off and get together with Sno at the Crick, assuming Sno bites. Dad welcome. Will file detailed follow up trip report if all goes down. I grew up skiing Great Gorge/Vernon Valley aka, as I call it "The Crick" (Hillbilly draw applied). Only an 80 minute drive from my house. How lucky can one get? In all seriousness, as I mentioned before...never had a bad day at The Crick. Even if a bad day, better than going to the office or working from home and vegetating like a zombie.

Found these...No Vernon Patch, but have the one from Great Gorge

Sno, don't limit yourself with this thinking. Parts of NJ have plenty of open trees, we generally just don't get consistent enough cold and snow. Here are some zones that would be tons of fun if they ever fill in

Re: Attn: snoloco

Well the trees near Mountain Creek are very tight.  It's not a powass rant, they are simply impassable, even if you ski trees as much as Harvey does and are great at it.
