Finding that Magical Skier Lady Friend

I figure this is as good as place to ask, as any.  How many of you managed to find a lady friend that also happens to love skiing? How about someone that is always down for getting out early, earning the turns, and all the other great things associated with the life of a skier?

How did you find this lady?

I took a couple slides laps at Whiteface on Sunday with a lady (maybe about 50 years old) that was an absolute ripper, moving through heavy mank on slides 1 and 2 in a touring setup, with grace and fluidity.  We talked about skiing, living up near Whiteface, and slide skiing, in general.  After two laps, I couldn't help but ask "hey, do you know anyone that is 30 years old, and just like you?" Maybe that was a little too direct...

I've been holding out to hopefully one day find a mountain lady, but as time moves on, and my grimy bachelor skier ways become less and less endearing, I'm not sure what will happen next.

You're just as likely to get sponsored by K2 but hey, there's a chance...

Ha!  Very few just like her!  Her sons are junior national nordic champs!

And I wouldn't want to miss with her Hubby

Lift weights. Lift weights and girls will hit on ya. Seriously. Even old ladies will flirt with you.

May sound corny or whatever but it is true. Dumb bell work is plenty good enough. The black handle ones at Wall Mart are the best, giving better grip and thus lift more and a much better/ effective lift

OK...so everyone knows who that is...I should probably just delete this thread.  Yeah, she was pretty cool.  She mentioned her son's nordic skiing exploits.

There are women who ski...and then there are women who SKI.  And I'm not talking about the two seasons in UT or Jackson, then moving back to the city type...I mean one that has the true passion.

The only reason I mentioned that example from Sunday, is because everytime I convince myself that I don't need a girl that that into it, I see some lady that is, and then I'm like...wait..it's out there.  I just need to look harder.

I've had better success in yoga than lifting weights, both in my perfomance and in meeting women. ;)   My bench press has always been quite pathetic...maybe that's the problem.
