I think I am too.  With the amount they are pumping into Gore and Whiteface, it wouldn't take that much to help Tupper.  Yea it may never pay for itself, but that's a high standard for gov't funded projects, bob sled run included.

Not sure I'd want the current owners involved though.  Maybe the govt lets them off the hook for back taxes in exchange for real estate.

Sounds like less money for Gore and WF.  

Why don't the signatories band together to buy it out as a co-op - MRG style?   It would basically be a private local hill for anyone holding shares and they can operate it at cost.

Spread it around. There's no way Gore and WF need the millions and millions poured into them each year. That corridor of the ADK's that Big Tupper is in needs some love or it will become a ghost town.

Near jobs, well funded schools, good medical services and 2 ski areas 20 minutes from my house.
