mine is from the top of hickory a few years ago. they closed early that year. earned my turns after a march snow storm.
walked up jack rabbit and hare. not the best route up.

Mine is from on a runout on "See Forever" at Telluride.  It was my only time out west, and the place is amazing.  See Forever is a cruiser from the top of the lift service that has amazing views to mountains miles out (I think the San Juan range).  

It's a fox eating what appears to be a very recognizable hallucinogenic mushroom.




Fuckin' criminal.

Should have been a picture of my skis with a shadow of a chairlift on the snow below them but my IPad doesn't get along with the forum software so it wouldn't crop properly. That's the top left corner of the picture so its just a shot of some snow. I kind of liked the way it looked so I just left it. It has a sort of minimalist appeal to me. I never got around to logging on from an actual computer to fix it.

Yup same experience. Forum sodftware has not caught up to the IPAD yet so stuck with either the generic ghost that i have or something like the upper right corner of what ever i use  ...BOOO.

I always assumed there was something mystical about that specific snow in your avatar.   Had no idea it was technical difficulty.  Nabble and iPad or iPhone don't play well together. Sucks for sure.

Reset my avatar image based on picture taken at the Sol de Portillo race. I had my my first ever 3 days of gate (self)training, then the first ski race (GS setup), also my first DNF next day - took the gate down, a lot of fun overall.
