I'm wondering how many trails have a snowmaking base?  

Maybe those guys will chime in. What time where you guys there? How crowded was it?  

I'm thinking even if 100 people skied it today it would still be pretty nice.

Probably a dozen people   We skied some spots with only natural cover you need wide skis and speed. We left at 1:30 and people were still hiking . There should be lots of snow left

Spring is king

My skiing experience is far less extensive than many, but today was one of my best all-time Catskills days. Sunny skies and untracked snow all day long.

Belleayre opening for Friday?  Really trying to get up to WF but need to go to a wedding Sat night in new joisey and have to be around T-giving for family things.  Pulling off WF for a day trip may not be worth it.  Trying to still get turns in though closer to home....

I think that's a possibility.  Z confirmed in the other thread that Whiteface will open Thursday.

They got a webcam new for this year.  It appears as if they're blowing snow on Onteora and Wanatuska.

Looks like they made the call...might be my only way of skiing this weekend.
