I have one for six years now. The thing is freaking awesome. You can cook long and slow at say 225 degrees or ratch it up to 800-900 degrees and cook pizza or steaks. It will do bread, chili, ribs, brisket, pulled pork, steaks, turkeys. You name it does it. I don't even own a gas grill anymore. This all I use. There egg festivals all over the country. Big green egg brings in demos for those days (brand new) at the end of the day sell them for a major discount. Generally the festivals have a nominal fee and all you can eat. They usually have 15 eggs going with all kinds of different food.
