Maybe you'd get snow on top of WF and the northern spine.  Maybe that is what STE meant.

Not sure if you mean me or STE. I was saying that the odds of this storm creating a large amount of snow on 11/1 seems slim. Wasn't forecasting anything.

Finally some blue across the continental US. First I've seen in two months...

Longrange goes warm again after this shot of cold but this is the first "snow" I've seen for the eastern US.

The Peaks will be white this weekend...Thinking Positive...Was in Placid today and the summits were "obscured by clouds"

Down in Dutchess/Putnam Co. We had flurries in the air yesterday and frost on the windshield this morning......both firsts for the season!

It was 25 this morning and 27 yesterday morning with some frost here in the flatlands.

Yesterday Rockland County  had a couple of moderate snow showers..

I'm def feeling a warm Nov coming.  Hope I'm wrong.  

It feels like the climate has already changed at my house.  We've been about 15 degrees warmer than normal all month.
