Snowing hard here in the 'Cuse right now. I think some spots like Greek may make out with some decent accumulations out of this. Saw Old Forge and McCauley may get up to 6". Will go a long way to recovering from this very crappy week.

Optimistic next weekend I will make it out for the first time this season given my recent ailments of late. May be X-C skiing but we shall see.

It turned to snow here right at dark thirty yesterday. We got a couple inches overnight, still snowing now.

Were getting some up here this AM Johnny - we did not loose all the ground cover but it really made a mess of things. I'm not going out today - will get some work done and maybe take the misses shopping in the big city. We need groceries for next week cause next week is looking pretty good.

My personal high complexity weather forecasting model of looking at Dark Sky and Snow-Forecast.com shows 4 - 9 inches at Gore for Tuesday and then continual cold.   Hopefully it will be the higher end and stick around until the weekend

I consulted Jason’s weather models and they are saying maybe 2” on Tuesday and 1” on Wed. We will need to rely on the guns

then turning much colder Wednesday night..then seasonably cold for a while...

That map in incorrect, I have 3" already here in Saratoga Springs.  I think the 4-8 inch forecast is correct.

LE machine is going now. Depending on who you listen to they're calling for 4-8 or 6-12 by Thursday

Map is incorrect , we plowed 4 inches last night here along the St Lawrence and the guys were at it again at 6 am this morning

The maps are rarely "correct" in the sense that they get the amounts right. They are an estimation of where it will snow.

I find them very helpful.

This map tells me that we are going to get Lake Effect that Snow Ridge could benefit from and to a lesser extent McCauley and Greek+CNY.

BGM a bit more aggressive, but forecast is about 5 hours older...

We've gotten 3" so far. A little break in the LE right now but my understanding is she's cranking back up in a while.
