Gore Vs. Whiteface - Battle Royale Edition

Gore is at 36 miles of the 40 mile limit.  For some reason - according to Bruce Mc and Mike P - liftlines count against the limit at WF but not at Gore.  Those additional 4 miles for Gore are pretty well planned out. I have a map somewhere.

I laughed at Scotty's comment about longwinded answers. I'll crank one out on this topic if the power stays on!

I think there is one down the Old Sagamore (Foxlair to Sunway) that is approved. Maybe one to skiers right of TR3, and one to skiers right of the current Sagamore?

I had a better one - a cell phone pic that I snapped of a map I saw when I was in Mike's office in 2010. Just can't find it.

This one is pretty similar.  The stuff in red is what is to be built.  None of the trails on Johnsburg land (Ski Bowl etc) count against the limit.

Barkeater and Cirque (roughly) are shown as a trails which makes me think they might cut them some day. Cirque I doubt they would cut, but cutting Barkeater might cut down on some of the whining about access/flat spots. Hate to see either of those get cut.

old Sagamore drops in from a different place than I thought. Interesting that it goes back to the ORG and you can go either way, to Sunway or to TR3.

Does that map have a new lift 3 going to the old gondi midstation, with it's own midstation at the current top?  That would be yet another pod.  Otherwise I think there are not so much flat spots, but outright uphilling involved in some of that proposed terrain.

Powder magazine is having thier own battle royal - we need to lobby to get Lake Placid on the ballet.  Anyone have any ideas on how to do that?

Looks like Whiteface drew first blood this year, but the season is a marathon, not a sprint.
