Okemo Announces New 6 Passenger Bubble Chair

The difficulty rating system used to use different colors.

The yellows on these maps are current blues. The blues on these maps are current blacks. Not sure when ratings became standardized nationally because some trail maps of that vintage already had the current rating system and some did not.

As much as I dislike Okemo, I will give them credit that Chief (featured prominently in that old map) is a phenomenal cruising trail. As long as you don't mind dodging a lot of traffic.

The current system is much more intuitive.

Black - hard and scary!  Diamonds - pointy and difficult!

Blue Circle just screams nice and easy.

Been to Okemo once and until now assumed I would never return, but Rivers review of Chief does make me think...
